Bryn Mawr Medical Specialists Association, a large multi-specialty medical practice, is in search of a full time Practice/Office Manager for one of their Cardiology groups. This Cardiology practice provides individualized care in all aspects of Cardiovascular Disease, including subspecialties in electrophysiology, echocardiography, interventional cardiology and peripheral vascular disease. Our in-suite diagnostic center is able to provide superior patient care using the latest procedures and state-of-the-art equipment. We are looking for a dynamic individual who can handle a demanding medical office environment that is made up of both full and part-time employees. The ability to adapt and problem solve in an ever-changing healthcare environment is a must. Job Summary: This position supervises staff and acts as a liaison between the departmental physicians, departmental managers, and office personnel. Primary duties include:*Ensure adequate and cost effective coverage of location(s) during office hours, times of full staffing and during staff and physician absences. Revise staffing coverage and shifts as needed. *Oversee, monitor and maintain the physician template to ensure adequate coverage of all necessary office, CDC, and hospital areas. Troubleshoot relevant schedules for conflicts and resolve issues.*Recruit and hire new staff members per corporate procedures. Train all new staff members and train existing staff on all new processes, procedures and protocols. *Obtain, verify, sign off and send all packing slips and bills to the corporate Accounts Payable.*Monitor OBC (Office Billing Coordinator) to post office, hospital and any relevant procedural billing in a timely and accurate manner and according to standard protocol. *Develop financial reports as requested.*Oversee the ordering of all front office and back office supplies.*Coordinate hospital-based billing, Physician On-Call schedule, Physicians lecture schedule, scheduling of the In-Suite Diagnostic Center, and rescheduling of patient appointments. Skills and Qualifications: *Strong organizational and management skills.*Keen sense of responsibility, accountability and confidentiality.*Ability to multi-task, prioritize, be process oriented and be able to effectively problem solve/trouble shoot.*Ability to interact professionally and equitably with varying levels of the organization.*Use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.*Use of computerized practice management system. Experience: *High school diploma required. A relevant college degree preferred.*Two-five years of supervisory experience in a medical setting required.*Computer experience required. *Knowledge of insurance billing preferred.
